5 TV SHOWS THAT ARE A MUST WATCH

Being like any other teenage these days I spend a fair amount of my time scrolling through Netflix looking for new things to watch; the thing is it's hard to find something gripping enough that you will watch it until 3am even if you have to be up at 7 the next day. The amount of times I have watched the first episode of a series and then thought that's an hour of my time i'm never getting back.
So here is my guide to a few of the best shows on the box (well apart from the obvious; Orange Is The New Black, Game Of Thrones and Breaking Bad that you clearly already know about)
Pretty Little Liars (my fav and my current obsession)
Encase you're unaware PLL is a teen drama crossed with a bit of a mystery investigation; a bit more than your normal who is dating who teen programme. In the show there is an anonymous person who goes by the name "A" who likes to spend their time tormenting the 4 teen girls about what happened to their missing friend. The girls are a bit like a female Sherlock Holmes gang following the clues and trying to get the right person to pay for what they did.
It's incredibly griping too. This is to the point where the first thing I do on a Wednesday morning is make a cuppa tea and watch the new PLL on Netflix, best way to start a day I think.
The fact we are now in the sixth season of the show and are still unaware who "A" is can be frustrating at times but as you've grown to know the characters you never really want your time with them to come to an end. I should mention the actresses in the show are extremely beautiful too such as Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson; you've also got Shay Mitchell who you can always rely on to come out with some kind of sassy comment.
Once Upon A Time
This is one that I've more recently got into; It takes me back to my childhood(or storybrooke as you might say)for the time I spend watching the magical kingdom. The show plays with your imagination and allows you to think even the extraordinary can be possible.
In short, it's all your childhood favourite fairy tales put into one modern day fantasy. However, there is one small twist; all of the fairy tale characters don't remember who they are so they are relying on the help of one little boy to make them realise their identity.
If you're thinking I wasn't the biggest fan of these tales as a kid, neither was i; this one really has got me though!
Broadchurch
Clearly we are on about the first series; unfortunately with the second series it feels like one of those shows that has been dragged on way too long. A bit like second mean girls film, no one knows why they bothered to create that.
In short, it's a detective series that is set in a seaside town however as the investigation deepens everyone gets wrapped within the secrets of a young boys death.
I have to admit David Tennant doesn't look too bad in it either when he plays the detective Alec Hardy.
Gossip Girl xoxo
Yes I agree, this is your typical teen drama but it's got to be the best one around. It's set in the upper east side in America; here every teenager can afford to have their own personal driver, I wish. The characters seem slightly stereotypical at first but once you begin to watch them grow you see they are so much more than that; the couples you see emerge are those many refer to as their "goals".
It had me glued to the screen since the very first episode; I think I watched over 10 episodes in a day once, that addictive! One of the most interesting characters to watch grow is little Jenny Humphrey, who is played by Taylor Momsen, you start to see more of a rebellious edge occurring to her and her sassy comments are one you don't want to miss.
I also have to say they did a good job of keeping the real identity of Gossip Girl hidden; the reveal definitely had me in shock.
Orphan Black
This is a fantastic series that had me on the edge of my seat with suspense in every episode; one that I couldn't stop watching. The series aren't too long to so it's a great one if you are looking for something to watch without it taking over your life.
In short, a woman witnesses a suicide of a girl who looks exactly like her and from here on she ends up taking over that woman's life. There are many twists to the plot but that would just be giving it away. You will just have to give it a watch to see what I mean I suppose...

Real Friends gig review

On the 22nd march Real Friends brought their UK tour to a close with a sold out show at the at the London Underworld in Camden. This venue did not have a barrier which made it more of an intimate gig for the fans as it allowed them to stage dive and crowd surf.

Lets start with the support bands, first up there was the Brighton pop punk band Six Time Champion, I had heard a few of their songs prior and they sounded promising. I have to say they did blow me away how much of a good show put on, the whole crowd was singing every lyric back at them from the first song. They then slowed the pace down with an acoustic version of their song Old Friends, Loose Ends, this defiantly showed how talented they are as musicians.
I would recommend popping along to one to these guys gigs if you have the chance you won't be disappointed or take  listen to their new EP 'expecting honesty'
DEFIENTLY A POP PUNK BAND TO WATCH

Next up was Brawlers, they surly were successful at getting the crowd going with their energetic performance. Their song 'Don't drink and dial' was full of bouncy and fun lyrics which got the crowd bouncing off of each other, got me ready for a good night.

The final support band was Trash Boat, these have to be the best new pop punk bands around which is shown as they have been voted to play the 'fresh blood' stage at slamdunk festival. By the second  song in their set Tobi had stage dived and cut this lip open which caused his tee to get covered in blood yet they still carried on, good job guys! They were full of energy the whole set with many fans climbing up onto the stage to stage dive off even a few mosh pits got started. defiantly go and give this band a watch if you have the chance!

Real Friends

I had bee dying to see this band play live for a long time after catching them play 'I've given up on you' at the UK warped tour in 2012. Their set list was a mix of songs from their newest album 'maybe this place is the same and we're just changing' as well as songs from their first EP's. This was a good set up for a cracker of a gig, the no barrier meant fans were able to get onto the stage and sing into the mic with Dan and then jump off back into the crowd. The part of the set that mesmerised me was their acoustic of 'sixteen', during this everyone had put their phones away and was totally focused on the stage. Almost every fan was singing the lyrics back which created such an amazing atmosphere that made you feel connected with the band. At the end of their set they played their song 'Alexander Supertramp' this caused the biggest circle pit of the gig, 300 out of the 500 capacity must of been running in a circle the size of the whole floor, super rad!
If you have never heard of Real Friends before give them a listen, they're some of the best of American pop punk
